Important Security Notification: Potential Data Breach effecting Cohorts 2003-2009

Dear Tri-City College Prep Community,
We are writing to inform you of a recent security breach involving our older Student Information System (SIS), which may have affected students who were part of the 2003-2009 cohorts.
What Happened:
On or around June 14th, 2024 an unauthorized party gained access to our older SIS. This breach resulted in the compromise of certain student records, including copies of transcripts. Some of these records included sensitive personal information, such as Social Security Numbers (SSNs).
What Information Was Involved:
The compromised information includes:
– Copies of student transcripts
– Some transcripts contained Social Security Numbers
What We Are Doing:
We have taken immediate steps to secure our systems and prevent any further unauthorized access. We are working with cybersecurity experts to thoroughly investigate the breach and mitigate any potential impacts.

Please consider taking steps to protect your personal information which may include:
1. Monitor Your Credit Reports:
– Obtain a free copy of your credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus to check for any signs of unauthorized activity.
